The fee-based publishing program is intended to provide brand savvy authors the opportunity to gain bestseller level exposure and status as a recognized authority in their area of expertise.

“We help entrepreneurial authors share their expertise through publishing a book, and then we work with them to use that book to further define their identity, build their reputation and grow their business,” explains Leanne Harvey, director of marketing, Entrepreneur Press. “We do this using the reach, media exposure, business partners and publishing expertise of Entrepreneur — something that no other publishing option can compete with.”

Authorship is a ready marketing strategy used often by successful entrepreneurs, such as Robert Kiyosaki, Suze Orman, and Donald Trump. Given its close proximity to Entrepreneur Magazine’s readership and resources, the Entrepreneur House Authors program definitely deserves consideration by business driven authors.

Entrepreneurs using a book to grow their business should visit www.entrepreneurhouseauthors.com for more information on this innovative publishing opportunity.

Hustletown readers: Are you a published author or making plans to do so? Share your experience and tips in our comment section below!

Zane is currently creating a line of cosmetics, and is also hard at work on several movie and television scripts. “In addition to that, I’ll be starting a Zane-branded music label, because music has always been an important part of my life,” she says. “I like to do things I’m passionate about.”

Bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell is known for his titles The Tipping Point, Blink, and Outliers. He is also a widely sought after speaker. Gideon Rachman is a writer for the Financial Times who recently shared space with Gladwell on the lecture circuit.

After Gladwell’s riveting speech, Rachman provided a key takeaway:

So how does Gladwell do it? Afterwards, I broke through the autograph-hunters surrounding him and asked him how he managed to time his talk so beautifully – so that it ended bang on 45 minutes, without ever looking at his watch. He answered – “I know it may not look like this. But it’s all scripted. I write down every word and then I learn it off by heart. I do that with all my talks and I’ve got lots of them.”

Memorizing a presentation allows freedom to roam around the podium, and may be just the technique to really connect with your audience. Read Rachman’s post for more insight on Gladwell’s approach.
