Guardian’s Girls Going Places Entrepreneurship Awards Program is entering its tenth year in 2010, and continues to accept entries through February 26.

The award is designed to encourage the enterprising spirits of girls ages 12 to 18. Guardian awards prizes to 15 girls who demonstrate budding entrepreneurship; are taking the first steps toward financial independence; and make a difference in their schools and communities. Every year, prizes totaling $30,000 are granted to three top winners and 12 finalists each year, to further their entrepreneurial pursuits or save for college. See all contest details at www.girlsgoingplaces.com.

The Hustletown Chronicle will continue to get the word out about scholarships and other unique opportunities for entrepreneurs such as Guardian’s initiative. Please continue to check back as we post links to new opportunities for you to take advantage of!
