Morehouse Business Plan Competition

So many students go to college with dreams of doing well and getting a good job. They succeed. Then they dream of making enough money working for someone else that they can become independently wealthy. Some do very well, many others struggle. Most fail to realize that independent wealth doesn’t depend on an employer.

Student at the Morehouse College Entrepreneurship Center are learning about opportunities to create real wealth for themselves and for others by participating in business competitions. If what the Kauffman Foundation reports about blacks being 50% more likely to be involved in start-up activities than whites is true, then these students can benefit financially through their entrepreneurial education by effectively competing in business plan contests.
